The churches have a lot of members, but only few true disciples of Jesus.
Councils can help people, but only Jesus can transform them. Motivational speaking and therapies can please people. It is not enough, however to illustrate them, people need to be transformed by repentance and faith in Christ who died and rose again.
I'm still dreaming about the future. More than ever I've shared the good news of our King Jesus and increasingly especially for Christians. Most of them need to hear the Gospel of the Kingdom. Often Christians in America and Brazil are like Hindus. Or perhaps worse, because although they confess Jesus with their mouth what they like even fondly are many variations of "God." Confessing Jesus as Lord today would have a totally different meaning, as in the first century, confessing Him represented immediate death sentence. Then confessing Jesus today would have many different implications in life and would mean actually renounce everything and become His servant even in the face of death.
